efore the peeling treatment, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and carefully prepared for contact with the acid. The medical fruit acid or salicylic acid peel is then applied precisely to the face and, if required, to the neck and décolleté. The application time varies depending on the type of acid, concentration and treatment goal and is usually between 5 and 10 minutes. The number of recommended sessions depends on the individual skin condition and usually comprises 4 to 6 treatments.
At the end of the treatment, the fruit acid is carefully removed from the skin and neutralised. A slight burning sensation similar to sunburn may occur during the peeling process. However, this sensation usually subsides quickly after neutralisation.
